Regarding your dental Insurance....
Your dental insurance benefit is a form of compensation provided by your employer. The amount of benefit is determined by the contract between your employer and insurance company. Usually the higher permium paid by your company, the more generous the reimbursement. If you have....
•Traditional (indemnity) insurance, you have complete freedom of choosing your dentist, including us, and receive full benefit of plan.
•PPO (preferred provider) plan, we accept assignment of benefit from almost all PPO plan. We can figure out your portion of copayment once we verify your coverage.
•HMO (managed care), you will receive benefits only if you go to a dentist on plan's very restricted list of providers. We'll be happy to serve your need, but your HMO will not cover any of your cost.
•We do not accept Denti-Cal.
Regarding preventive care benefit....
Most of the insurance covers 100% of preventive cares twice annually. That includes cleaning, exam, and x-ray. By seeing us twice a year, we can monitor your oral health and prevent any problem that may arise before it required more extensive and expensive treatment.
Regarding your co-payment and deductible....
The amount of your co-payment and deductible depends on type of insurance coverage you have. When we obtain your insurance information, we'll had a better idea of what your estimate co-payment will be.
